This solution does not require fixed structures to maintain and certify, nor does it include rigidity, which is not useful in today’s highly efficient warehouses.
MAVIC is founded on four key logistics modules.
- Market: standard wire mesh containers of differennt sizes (standard: 120×80 cm – EUR), ideal for goods handling and optimized storage in warehouses.
- Pallet cages: collapsible metal structures that can turn standard wooden pallets into safe and flexible storage units. They are actual metal walls that are placed on the edges of the wooden pallet and are tied down with mobile brackets. The pallet cage can be used as a container straight away, so you don’t need any extra packaging. What’s more, you can stack three of these on top of one places on the floor.
- EMAK: storage system that allow EUR pallets to be stackable with wire mesh containers for hybrid pallet/MAVIC management.
- Roll Container: industrial trolleys in different sizes to handle goods
MAVIC containers can be equipped with wheels for manual handling, half hinged gate for easy access to materials and protective covers for small or valuable goods. Integration with Euro pallets facilitates hybrid logistics, integrating Euro pallets into internal and external handling flows and combining them with MAVIC to create a flexible and versatile warehouse, in short: AGILE.
For instance, a company handling both palletised goods and bulk materials can use MAVIC to optimise storage areas. This involves using pallet racking for stable units, market containers for internal transport and EMAK structures for stacking pallets without losing vertical space. This approach optimises available volume, reduces handling time and improves operational space management.
Receiving goods
- Unloading goods: Market cages (120 x 80 cm EUR) and Pallet Cages series, being compatible with pallet-trucks and forklifts, facilitate unloading operations without the need for additional equipment.
- Quality and quantity control: thanks to the wire mesh structure, goods are immediately visible, speeding up visual checks without having to open each unit.
- Identification and registration: containers can have welded metal plates for shipping labels and file folders to facilitate cataloging and tracking.
Internal storage and handling
- Vertical storage: MAVIC allows up to three containers to be stacked on a single one, optimizing available space without the need for fixed shelving.
- Facilitated handling: with wheels available upon request, metal cages can be moved manually for quick and dynamic operations.
- Operational safety: wire mesh walls prevent the risk of falling materials. Containers can be equipped with lockable lids to protect valuable goods.
Order preparation and material picking
- Improved accessibility: the half hing gates make it easier to pick goods out without having to remove the entire contents of the container.
- Dense mesh and protective coatings: ideal for handling small goods or fragile components, preventing the dispersion of materials.
- Integration with existing flows: EMAK containers overlap EUR pallets for seamless compatibility with pickup and shipping lines.
Shipping and stock management
- Load optimization: the standard size of MAVIC containers allows for maximum optimization of the volume of trucks, with a load capacity of up to 90 Market standard per truck.
- Flexibility with traditional pallets: the combined use of pallets with pallet cages and EMAK cages allows hybrid management that adapts to different production cycles.
- Traceability and documentation: integrated document folders simplify administrative management and shipment control.
Waste management and waste materials
